Technique Tuesday: Woven Background

This week's technique is making a Woven Background. This is the "Try A New Technique" challenge on SplotcoastStampers this week.  For this first example, I used DSP for three colors and an embossed cardstock for the fourth.
I love the bright colors and the little extra sparkle.
For this card, the background uses only two colors.  After the cardstock was woven together it was embossed with a lattice pattern.  The embossing gives the card great texture and softens the feel of the whole card.

The bright yellow flowers with pearl centers are so happy and perfect for the get well sentiment.
