Friday Focus: Ornament Punch

This week's focus is on the Ornament Punch.  The first, and most obvious, use of this punch is to make ornaments.  This card uses a punch out with DSP and a punched stamped image.

By raising the background and the punched ornament it creates a shadow which adds depth.  Another use for the Ornament Punch is making punch art people.

I used this punch on a pirate card I made on a previous post.  Here it makes a cute Mr. and Mrs. Santa Claus.

You can see the shape of the ornament in both heads.  The final way that I like to use the Ornament Punch is to make a vase for flowers.

Adding a pretty embossed design makes it look like a beautiful vase.

This card was done in shades of pink for Breast Cancer Awareness Month.  A wonderful card to show support and sympathy.
