Today's project focuses on the Blast Off Stamp Set. My wonderful son, who will be 5 years old soon, has requested a space birthday party. This stamp set was perfect.
Embossing the images on the dark cardstock give the look of being in space. The moon was made by layering cardstock with holes in it on top of a solid piece. This produces depth and gives the "moon" its "craters."
There was even room on the back for the space man (whose hair was colored brown like my son's). I used the RGB codes for the Stampin' Up! colors to print the invitation details so they would be a perfect match.
The envelope was even embellished to fit the theme. I hope all the children who receive these invites enjoy them as much as I enjoyed making them.
