Fab Friday 07

This week was a sketch challenge at Fab Friday was a simple design with a lot of potential for creativity (FabFri07).
I love the simplicity of the sketch and how versatile it is.  You can really let your imagination run wild with this one.  I use DSP on the bottom just like the sketch, but add a thicker ribbon embellishment and a larger focal point.
I used the Howlstooth and Scaringbone DSP from the Holiday Catalog.  The designs are great for more than just Halloween (and it is only available for another month).  I decided to stick to black and white for this card to give a more elegant feel.
I have also combined this with the SplitcoastStampers Try a New Technique Challenge this week, which is Glittery Embossing (TLC405).  The challenge was to dry emboss a background and then brayer with glitter.  I did not have glitter glue, so I brayered on multipurpose glue and then added some Stampin' Glitter.  I really love the way the technique works on this card.
