Pretty in Pink

Today's card was inspired by two challenges.  The first was the Pals Paper Arts Sketch Challenge.
This challenge has many layers to work with.  To keep the look clean, I decided to use a monochromatic color theme.
The second challenge is the Ways to Use It Challenge (WT401) on SplitcoastStampers.  This challenge was to use a bird on your project.  Any type of bird can be used, and you can punch, stamp, or draw it.
This card uses the Bird Builder Punch.  I used a blender pen and ink to add some shading to the bird.  A pearl colored with a black Sharpie makes a perfect eye.
And of course, no card is complete without a little bling.  I changed the sketch slightly by making the sentiment into a banner shape.  The glimmer paper mat gives just the right amount of sparkle.

It's a bird! It's a plane! No, it's a new app from Stampin' Up!
