Mojo Monday 305: Black and White Thank You Card

Today's card was inspired by a sketch challenge and my favorite DSP from the new catalog.  I love that the  black and vanilla papers go with any color.  You could easily change the red paper to your favorite color and have a totally different looking card.

The layout was inspired by the Mojo Monday Sketch Challenge (#305).  The multiple layers of this sketch immediately made me think of layering DSP.  This card has more layers that I usually put on a card, so it was a true challenge for me.

This sentiment from the Lacy & Lovely stamp set is perfect for the classic DSP and elegant flower trim.

I tried several different ribbons before I saw this flower trim (which I have been hoarding).  It is so pretty and give some texture to the card.  With the varied patterns of DSP and the black base, the solid colored middle panel and vanilla flowers help lighten this card up.
