In just one month, my baby girl will be turning 4. I can not believe how fast she has grown and how amazing she is turning out to be. She has been adamant that she wants a pink and purple princess party (say that five times fast). So, I thought for her invitations I would make a princess gown.
I started with the sleeveless Dress Up Framelit for the bodice. Then I used the Circle Framelit to make the rounded gown shape.
The Dress Up Framelit with sleeves was used to make the top of the dress. I used some scraps of Glimmer Paper to make the belts. I save every scrap of glimmer paper, since sometimes all you need is a little sparkle to make a project perfect.
I love the way the pink shows just a little over the top on the bodice. I love the sparkle that the glimmer paper adds, and I know my daughter is going to love it, as well.
When making invitations I love to use MDS for the info sections. I can easily make the font color match my cardstock so everything matches. Since I am making over 40 of these invitations, I tried to keep it simple so it would be easy to mass produce. Now, on to the party planning...
