Playing with MDS

I have recently started playing with MDS2+ that I bought in November.  I am new to digital scrapping, but have wanted to try it for a while.  I opted to buy the MDS2+ because it came with a large amount of content, so I could start playing right away.  You can too, with the MDS2 30-Day Free Trial.

For my first digital post I am combining two different challenges.  The first is a color challenge from Hand Stamped Sentiments (HSSCC150).  I used Very Vanilla as a neutral addition.
The design is based on a sketch from Paper Craft Crew Challenges (PCCCS023). It is a simple sketch that offers opportunity for embellishments.
So, here is my card front:
The entire card was made with content that was included in my original download.  It comes loaded with stamps, cardstock, designer paper, punches, and embellishments.  The hardest part was choosing which elements to use.  It is hard to tell here, but the Baker's Twine is Pool Party.  And I love that it also included the pearls and rhinestones (which were used on the ribbon here).
I also like that the software has templates, like this standard size card.  It has a number of card, scrapbook pages, and custom projects.  And, if you are looking for inspiration (and can't find a challenge to jump start you), MDS is loaded with pre-designed projects.  Overall, this card turned out to be a lot of fun.
